The payment of registration fee will be processed in Hong Kong Dollar (HKD). US Dollar is for reference only.

  • In-person participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangement.
  • Conference registration is successful and effective only upon the receipt of registration fee.

^ Valid student identity card issued by qualified institution is required to be eligible for the student rate.

Payment Method

  • Payment must be made by credit card in HKD (MasterCard / VISA only).
  • Registration fee is charged in Hong Kong dollars. For overseas participants, the exact amount of the registration fee will be based on the exchange rate on the date of transaction.

Letter of Invitation

On request, the Secretariat will send a letter of invitation by email to participant to attend the Conference. This invitation is intended to facilitate the participant to apply leave or travel arrangement / and does not imply the provision of any financial or other support. Rules and Regulations

  • Registrations are subject to acceptance on a “first-come-first-served” basis.
  • Registration forms received without payment will not be processed.
  • Email confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your registration form and full payment. If you do not receive the confirmation within two weeks after your registration, please contact us by email at reg@sar-rcmi2024.org.
  • The Programme is subject to change without prior notice. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the Conference, the only and maximum liability of the Organisers is to refund all the fees paid.
  • All enquiries, changes and cancellations should be made in writing to reg@sar-rcmi2024.org.
  • Payment is not transferable to other parties.
  • The decision of the Organisers shall be final and conclusive.
  • The participant recognises and accepts that the Organisers of the SAR / RCMI PolyU Research Conference 2024 collect, process and store personal data exclusively for processing registration to SAR / RCMI PolyU Research Conference 2024 as well as for general preparation work for the Conference.

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy: 

All cancellations and requests for refunds MUST be submitted in writing via email at reg@sar-rcmi2024.org no later than 3 April 2024.  Requests for cancellations/registration refunds received after 3 April 2024 will not be considered. A HK$395 administrative fee will be deducted from the total amount paid.  All refunds will be processed within four to six weeks after the Conference has concluded.

If the pandemic environment warrants the cancellation of an in-person Conference, we will move the Conference to an online format and will email all registrants the details about timing and cost adjustments, if any.
